By accessing or using Call The Fire Dept ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Purpose

Call The Fire Dept is a public, informational directory of fire departments in the United States. It is not affiliated with any government agency. The Service is not an emergency service — in an emergency, call 911.

Accounts

You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Keep your login credentials secure and notify us of any unauthorized use.

User submissions

  • You may submit fire department listings and updates. You represent that the information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
  • By submitting content, you grant Call The Fire Dept a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of the Service.
  • Do not submit content you do not have the right to share, or that is misleading, unlawful, or infringes the rights of others.
  • We may edit, reject, or remove any submission at our discretion.

Claiming a listing

Claim requests are reviewed by our team. By submitting a claim, you represent that you are authorized to manage information on behalf of the department. We may verify claims and may revoke access if a claim is found to be invalid.

Acceptable use

  • Do not scrape, harvest, or bulk-download data from the Service.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, attack, or reverse engineer the Service.
  • Do not use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages.
  • Do not impersonate any person or organization.

Disclaimer

Information on Call The Fire Dept is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that listings are complete, accurate, or up to date. Verify critical information directly with the department.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Call The Fire Dept shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Third-party links

The Service may link to third-party websites (e.g., department websites, maps, social media). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

Termination
